At the November Board of Supervisor's Meeting the following department personnel were recognized for their achievements:

Firefighter/EMT Nathan Herlocker was recognized for his achievement of the National Fire Academy's Managing Officer Program. This program is a two year program delivered at the National Fire Academy in Emmitsburg, MD that concentrates on four areas of fire services leadership: Applications of Community Risk Reduction, Applications of Leadership in the Culture of Safety, Training and Professional Development Challenges for Fire Service Leaders, and Analytical Tools for Decision-Making.

Firefighter/Intermediate Darren Rock was recognized for his achievement of certification as a National Registered Paramedic. Darren attended Jefferson College of Health Sciences program over the past ten months, investing over 1,000 hours in classroom, hospital, and ambulance ride time. This is the highest level of certification in patient care for EMS providers.

Please join the department in congratulating both of these individuals on their achievements.
